After MT one night, Adriana and I decided that we wanted to make an apple pie. Baking an apple pie is a pretty time consuming process, so I was surprised at how excited she was about the prospect of starting one at 12am. It reminded me of how much I love when people can be spontaneous. There's nothing like slicing apples and waiting for the pie to bake while eating a massive bowl of cherries that will bring a couple of gals closer together. I must admit that I was kind of sad when 3am came around and the night was over.
The pie cooled down overnight and we cut our first slice the next day. We felt a huge sense of accomplishment - our pie was a success!
