Cedar Point

In June, Kerry and I made a visit to Cedar Point. It's always been something we've wanted to do together so was well worth the 5-hour car ride. After being to Wonderland so many times, I figured that taking on the roller coaster capital of the world would be easy -- I was wrong. Kerry, who has made numerous visits to Cedar Point, warned me before the trip that I had to be up for the rollercoaster rides; but as soon as I got there and saw the Millenium Force (which has broken a world record for its height) I froze. He knew I was nervous so he decided to work me up towards it from the small to big coasters. This, in addition to the fact that he was planning on having me ride it at least twice, was a bad idea. I was dreading it alllll day! Everytime I would hear the blood curling screams from the MF I would shudder; I couldn't eat anything because I was so nervous. And then when the time came to finally go on the ride I wanted to bail, but Kerry said he wouldn't make me go on it a second time if I went on it once. So I buckled myself in, and had my eyes closed nearly the whole time. As soon as it stopped, I felt a flow of relief "It's finally over, I can finally relax!" I thought to myself. And as we left, Kerry, because of his systematic ways, was planning what ride we should hit next: "Okay, now we should go to Dragster, and then we can hit up Millenium Force again...." Everything after the words "Millenium Force" and "again" was a blur...

Me in front of a rollercoaster that isn't the Millenium Force. I didn't want to be reminded of the experience.
