Biked to our favorite restaurant in town, Pho Dau Bo. As far as Asian cuisine in St. Catharines goes, it's pretty legit - I personally think that pho and 3-bean dessert is the best they've got there. I've tried the bun bo hue once and wasn't impressed, but then again, it's hard to find good bun bo hue. Aside from my parents, I've only had good bun bo hue 3 times - once at a restaurant in Etobicoke, once at this vietnamese woman's house, and once at a street vendor in Vietnam. Therefore, I always stick with the pho and am consistently satisfied. I think the only downside to the pho is the lack of thai basil and lime that they provide, but the 3-bean dessert is perfection. Pho rates a 4.5/5.0 sss.
I was SO surprised at how clean their washrooms were. I'm a germophobe, so I try to steer far from public washrooms... but they really stayed on top of scrubbing this place down. Great stuff.
