Met up with Har, Audi and Nat at Swan on Queen West to celebrate my acceptance into med school! We started off with oysters, which allowed me to apply what I learned from studying oyster-eating etiquette (which I read up on prior to our meeting). The oysters were accompanied by various dressings but I most enjoyed it simply with lemon -slirp slirp slirp, yum!
I ordered the bbq capon - capon is castrated rooster for those who don't know (because I didn't). It was delicious, but was reminiscent of the southern chicken I had earlier that day for brunch (below) so I was kind of bummed I ordered the same thing twice. Nonetheless, it was still a fantastic meal treated to me by the sweetest gal pals!
