
Some of my favourite appetizers - thousand year old eggs (right), and salty eggs (left). Fast Fact: The black eggs with dried shrimp and leeks are a common side dish to beer drinking in Vietnam. Salty eggs need to be accompanied by porridge/congee for balance.
